OVERVIEW

The SCL-P11X15 is a new PL mount lens for the PMW-F3 Super 35mm CineAlta compact camcorder. It is a wide-angle zoom 1.5-times 11-16mm T3.0 lens aimed at high-end cinema, drama, documentary and commercials productions.

The SCL-P11X15 has been specifically designed to fit to the PMW-F3K via the camcorder’s supplied PL Mount Adapter, which also means the lens is compatible with any other PL Mount camcorder from Sony and also camcorders from many other manufacturers.

  • PL mount wide angle zoom: The SCL-P11X15 is a wide angle lens offering 1.5-times zoom 11-16mm T3.0 with a PL mount for easy integration with the PMW-F3 Super 35mm CineAlta compact camcorder.
  • Features standard Cooke lens interface: The lens features a standard 4 pin Cooke lens interface giving users added flexibility.
  • Lens data read, used and stored by PMW-F3: Metadata from the SCL-P11X15 lens can be viewed on a monitor connected to the PMW-F3 or stored on the SxS Pro card. Iris, focus and zoom data can be utilized in motion control rigs and VFX processing. This is also useful for continuity in re-shoots.
